Morning's Bakings

"It was impossible not to exult in the spicy odours which told of the morning's bakings."
~ Under the Country Sky
Pg. 56

Most of the time I'm a famished breakfast person, sometimes I'm not, I have to work up an appitite, but either way I love the smell of something baking in the morning. I woke up to these two things the other day.
Yes, I have a maid.
She's like a sister to me.

Nah.

 P.S.
It's March. My personal favorite month.
Happiness floats in on every breeze in March.

This Is a Journal

A simple journal but with a few frills and knickers. Follow me as I tramp around in my garden of life, days of honey, days of onions, days of who knows what. Hear my days, hear my life! My name is Whitney Rhea (pronounced ray), I'm in a state of incubation. There's more than one form of the word, a wise lady showed it to me.

   in*cu*bate
–verb (used with object)
1. to sit upon (eggs) for the purpose of hatching.
2. to hatch (eggs), as by sitting upon them or by artificial heat.
3. to maintain at a favorable temperature and in other conditions promoting development, as cultures of bacteria or prematurely born infants.
4. to develop or produce as if by hatching; give form to: His brain was incubating schemes for raising money.

–verb (used without object)
5. to sit upon eggs.
6. to undergo incubation.
*7. to develop; grow; take form: A plan was slowly incubating in her mind.*

"That's me today. On edge. On the verge. On the verge of...what? That's where the words stop...and the thoughts begin."

So as you can see, I've been thinking.

I guess we're always incubating something inside of us. It's like making cookies you throw them in the oven and while those are baking, your getting the next batch ready. In time the first batch is ready to share, then in goes the second, but it takes some concentration, some decisions to make good cookies or burnt ones, or even schrummy ones. *Schrummy means scrumptiously yummy.*

And like the wise lady said,

"The bottom line is...I just need to keep my faith. And trust. And continue moving forward...step by step, day by day, moment by moment. And when the time is right..."
